Some slots had been made available by carriers at Paris-Orly airport, especially by ROYAL JORDANIAN and VOLARE. These slots in addition to those which lost their historic priority due to an insufficient utilization during W05 constituted a pool of 3 328 slots on an annual basis, which has been distributed for the Schedules Conference of the aeronautical Winter 2006/2007 season (W06).
The carriers having claimed this new entrant status and entitled to do so are : Air Europa (2 weekly flights to Alicante), Catair (2 daily flights to Valence, 2 daily flights to Sevilla and 1 daily flight to Malaga), Flybaboo (2 daily flights to Geneva), Condor (1 daily flight to Munich), Chalair (3 daily flights to Eindhoven), easyJet Switzerland (2 daily flights to Roma), Eindhoven Regional (2 daily flights to Eindhoven), MyWay Airline (5 weekly flights to Venice), Norwegian (5 weekly flights to Oslo and 2 weekly flights to Bergen), Phenix Aviation (7 weekly flights to several Carabean airports), Airlinair (1 weekly flight to Brive and 1 weekly flight to Castres).

* easyJet Switzerland (728) for one additional daily flight to Roma Ciampino (CIA),
* Norwegian (728) for 5 additional weekly flights to Oslo and 2 weekly flights to Bergen,
* Air Europa (208) for 2 additional 2 weekly flights to Alicante.
As incumbents (1 664slots) :
* Royal Air Maroc (520) for 5 additional weekly flights,
* Aigle Azur (416) for 4 additional weekly flights,
* Atlas Blue (312) for 3 additional weekly flights,
* Air Caraïbes Atlantique (312) for 3 additional weekly flights,
* Tunisair (104) for 1 additional weekly flight.
These slots were allocated on the basis of submissions for the aeronautical Winter 2006/2007 season. However, the carriers which have been allocated these new slots on an annual basis willing to start their year round operations already before the end of the current aeronautical Summer 2006 season will be allowed to do so.
The reserved number of slots for year-round services will be allocated for the aeronautical Summer 2007 season provided that the new services will really start at the beginning of the aeronautical Winter 2006/2007 season and that the year round operation requests are duly confirmed by carriers by the industry deadline set on 12th October, 2006 at 23:59 UTC.
